Tanoor bread

Ingredients

  • 1 kg flour
  • 500 ml warm water
  • 1 tbls salt
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • ½ tsp dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bread maker.
  2. Once mixed, let it sit for 30 minutes to allow the dough to prove.
  3. Separate into 10-12 dough balls.
  4. Ready to bake.

This bread is served with main ccourses, such as Lamb Pumpkin and Chickpea Stew with Raisins for instance
